The photos above were taken by Lison Libault during a cruise of the catamaran Kawai to Saint Lucia and during other catamaran navigation in Martinique.

Charter to St Lucia

St Lucia is the island located directly to the south of Martinique. A navigation of four hours is required to rally Rodney Bay, first port of Saint Lucia, from the south of Martinique . From there, the navigations from one to three hours be allowed to join Marigot Bay, Anse Cochon, La Soufriere or the Bay of the Pitons.

Rodney Bay is the most touristic part of Saint Lucia. She has continued to grow since 10 years because of the construction of many hotels, bars and restaurant and the reconstruction of its marina. Although it is not a fan of infrastructures designed to mass tourism, it must be recognized that the establishments made in this part of the island have been done with the means and the taste necessary to the creation of structures of quality. It is, this fact, very nice to go out in the evening in Rodney Bay Village, or the have contained everything that is needed for a good night out. The panel of restaurant is quite impressive and the quality of service and the indisputable cuisine for some of them.

Marigot Bay is a small marina much more intimate that Rodney Bay. Here too, the quality of infrastructure and benefits leaves nothing to complain about. The anchorage, to the outside is of any beauty, just as the site as a whole.

Anse Cochon is a small anchorage in front of a black sand beach, just below a resort made of small bungalows very well integrated in the vegetation. The anchorage, generally occupied by the catamarans of day charter and diving boats during the day, becomes very quiet and very few attended the evening. A very nice snorkeling spot allows you to take advantage of nice stroll in palme, mask, tuba.

The village of Soufriere, located just before the superb anchorage of the two Pitons (Bay of the Pitons), is much more rural. The anchorage of the Pitons offer very beautiful snorkeling sites too.
